Brittney Lawrence explains to the audience the location and distance of Matthew Henson's birthplace in Namjoy, Maryland – Matthew Henson was a Marylander! He was born and raised in Charles County 45 minutes from Waldon Woods Elementary school.
Bryan Jackson as Matthew Henson (Kneeling) and Jerome Barrett as Robert Peary (Laying down). The moment when Peary realizes he can go no further due to his badly frostbitten feet and the amputation of nine of his toes.
