The portrait from Matt's 1912 book, colorized by Bradley Robinson The book Matt wrote about his North Pole trip. Publised in 1912 a copy today in very good condition sells for $3,000! One of the most dramatic, clear photographs ever taken of Matt in the arctic. This one is from 1909
