We were lucky to have in our company, Delegate Samuel Linton from the State Of Maryland, The General Assembly. Mr. Linton  came to explain to the students about purchasing the land in Najmoy, Maryland that Matthew was born on. The State of Maryland would like to erect a statue of Matthew Henson on the land.

Also visible is Waldon Woods' school prinicpal, Mr. Legaunt Jones and Mrs. Marilynn Bland, school board member both of whom watched the students present the play.
